Ketch Harbour is both a rural fishing and residential community located on the Chebucto Peninsula 17 kilometers from Halifax. This community has been a fishing spot for over two hundred years. The area was one of the earliest settlements following colonization of Halifax in 1749. Residences are a mix of old world charm and modern architecture.
Area attractions include Duncans Cove Nature Reserve, York Redoubt National Historic Site, and the Chebucto Head Lighthouse.
