Cole Harbour is situation 6 kilometres east of  central district of Dartmouth. Its name comes from its location, a natural harbour fronting on the Atlantic Ocean. Cole Harbour is a suburban community best known for being the birthplace of Sidney Crosby, famous hockey player, and 3-time Stanley Cup Winner. The population of Cole Harbour as of 2016 was 92,301.
