Dartmouth

Dartmouth is nicknamed the City of Lakes because of its large number of lakes within its boundary.  Dartmouth has 23 lakes that provide recreational fun such as windsurfing, canoeing, swimming, and kayaking.

Dartmouth is an urban community located in Halifax Nova Scotia. In 1996 the provincial government amalgamated all municipalities within the boundaries of Halifax County under a single tiered regional government. Annually since1895 Dartmouth celebrates a civic holiday called Natal Day. Dartmouth covers 22.61 square miles
